Description

The PVPC is seeking candidates for the Director of the Community and Economic Development Department. The C&ED Director supervises the department’s professional, technical, and clerical staff, assures funding for the department’s work and develops and implements related regional plans. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both community and economic development, strong grant writing and management skills, an entrepreneurial approach to regional problem solving and development; experience growing and supervising a team; strong interpersonal, administrative, and problem-solving skills, as well as an affinity for process improvement and charting the course of this new department. Experience with CDBG funds is a plus.
